Ha megcsordul Vince, tele lesz a pince – tartja a szólás. Ennek alapja az a népi megfigyelés, hogy ha január 22-én, Szent Vince napján olvad, jó lesz a szőlőtermés. A hagyományoknak megfelelően ebből az alkalomból gyűltek össze a siklósiak és környékbeliek az Akasztófa-dűlőben felállított keresztnél.
