Komlón 1984 óta működik a nagyon aktív német klub, 10 évre rá megalakult a német önkormányzat, és már az óvodától az érettségiig van német nemzetiségi oktatás. A pandémia után újra kinyitotta kapuit a klubszékház, ahol egy népismereti szobát is berendeztek. Idén azonban az energiaárak emelkedése miatt, csak a rendezvények ideje alatt látogatható a ház.
Ma Bonifác névnapja van.
