    Assisi Ferenc, egyházi nevén Assisi Szent Ferenc vagy ahogy a ferencesek nevezték: szerafikus Szent Ferenc a Kisebb Testvérek Rendje azaz a ferencesek rendjének alapítója és a klarisszák társalapítója. A római katolikus egyház szentként tiszteli. A róla készült szobor Pécs egyik nevezetessége, mely a Ferencesek Temploma szomszédságában található. Tillai Gábor történész mutatja be a remekművet.
