A Tolnai Városvédő Egyesület által kiadott „Tolnai helytörténeti füzetek” címen elkészültek a sorozat újabb darabjai: az „Árvalányotthon a tolnai fonógyárban”, illetve a „Fonalterjedelmesítés a tolnai fonógyárban” című tanulmányok. Mindkét mű Steinbach Ferenc keze munkáját dicséri, aki a tolnai selyemfonoda utolsó vezetője volt. A szerző jórészt saját szakmai tudására, tapasztalataira támaszkodott a dolgozatok elkészítésekor, de a tolnai selyemgyárban található selyemszoba relikviái, anyagai, valamint némi, még rendelkezésre álló szakirodalom is segítségére volt a tanulmányok megírása során.
