Elhanyagolt, üres épület helyett, parkolóházat hozna létre a régi vásárcsarnok épületéből Pécsen, a belváros képviselője. Kővári János szerint naponta bizonyosodik be, hogy nincs elég hely a járműveknek ebben a városrészben. Az épület átalakítása pedig olcsó és hatásos megoldás lenne a parkolók hiányára.
