Tamásiban is megemlékezek a magyar államalapítás napjáról. A rendezvénytéren megtartott ünnepen tömegek hallgatták a város vezetőjének beszédét. Melyben ennek a napnak a jelentőségéről beszélt, Szent Istvánról, aki ezer év után is példát tud mutatni a népnek. Emellett a híres Dívák hármasa is fellépett ezen a napon.
