Az ünnepi testületi ülést követően, a hagyományokhoz híven, délután folytatódott a város napja. A Hősök terén több tolnai csoport is színpadra lépett. A szervezők kicsikre és nagyokra is gondoltak egyaránt, hiszen arcfestéssel és különböző gyerekjátékokkal és vidámparkkal készültek. A rendezvényt természetesen este sztárfellépő zárta.
Ma Magdolna névnapja van.
