    Leváltották Pekárik Gézát, a paksi atomerőmű eddigi vezérigazgatóját, az új vezető pedig Horváth Péter János lett, aki eddig a Magyar Energetikai és Közmű-szabályozási Hivatal elnöke volt. Horváth elsődleges feladata a létesítmény működőképességének tartós megőrzése, a meglévő blokkok tervezett üzemidő-hosszabbításának előkészítése lesz. Pekárik Géza a nukleáris területen maradva, miniszteri tanácsadóként folytatja a munkáját.
