Januárban a kárpátaljai magyar óvodások, iskolások és egyetemisták megemelt összegű oktatási-nevelési támogatást kapnak – jelentette be közösségi oldalára feltöltött videójában a Miniszterelnökség nemzetpolitikáért felelős államtitkára. Potápi Árpád János felidézte, aki egyben Tolna megye kettes számú választókerületének országgyűlési képivselője, kiemelte, hogy a nemzetpolitika egyik legátfogóbb, több évtizede működő támogatási programja a Szülőföldön Magyarul program (közismert nevén oktatási-nevelési támogatás), amellyel a magyar kormány 2003 óta mond köszönetet azoknak a külhoni magyar családoknak, akik gyermeküket magyar oktatási intézménybe íratják.
