Általános és középiskolás diákok is részt vettek a Wass Albert rajzpályázaton, ahol az író művei alapján alkották meg a pályamunkáikat. Idén is nehéz dolga volt a zsűrinek, hiszen több mint 200 beérkezett rajz közül kellett a legjobbakat kiválasztani. 18 éve hirdeti meg a Wass Albert Törzsasztal és a Vörösmarty Mihály Művelődési Központ az alkotói pályázatot, amin minden évben lelkesen vesznek részt a diákok. Az eredményhirdetést követően az országban először itt felállított szobornál emlékeztek meg Wass Albertről.
