259 évvel ezelőtt törtek rá a madéfalvi székelyekre a bécsi csapatok és engedetlenségük megtorlásaként ágyúkkal lőtték őket. Többen menekülni kezdtek, ezzel megalakult a Bukovinai székelyek csoportja. Így lett január hetedike a siculicidium vagyis a székely gyilkosság napja és egyben a Bukovinai székelyek születésnapja is. Erre emlékeztek Bátaszéken.
Ma Henrietta névnapja van.
