A világjárvány beköszönte előtt szokásban volt Bátaszéken hogy az év végének közeledtével a település időseit köszöntötték. Most hogy újra lehetőség nyílt a találkozásra a Sportcsarnok ismét megtelt a 70 év felettiekkel, az önkormányzat és a Gondozási Központ által szervezett programon. Ez a találkozó nagyon fontos az idősek számára, hiszen sokuknak csak itt van lehetősége találkozni, beszélgetni, együtt lenni kortársaikkal.
Ma Auguszta névnapja van.
