A számítások szerint a Bátaszéki Önkormányzat által üzemeltetett intézményekben közel ötszáz százalékkal nőnek 2023-ban a gáz- és áramszámlák. A megemelkedett energiaárak szinte minden település gazdálkodását megnehezítik, éppen ezért döntött úgy a gazdasági Kabinet, hogy többlettámogatással segíti a városok és falvak kiadásait. Varga Mihály, pénzügyminiszter, facebook oldalán jelentette be a közelgő intézkedést, melyet a közvilágítás, az óvodák, a bölcsődék és a gyermekétkeztetés fenntartására fordíthatnak majd a települések.
