A Gárdonyi Zoltán Református Kórus minden esztendőben adventkor szervezi meg a Magyar Kórusok napjához kötődően kórustalálkozóját azzal a kettős céllal, hogy egyrészt fenntartsák a kórus éneklés hagyományát, másrészt ezzel a programmal is emeljék a adventi várakozás ünnepélyességét. Ezzel a programmal emlékezik meg az énekes társadalom Kodály Zoltán születésnapjáról .
