Bár az ipari park példa értékűen működik, bölcsőde épült a településen és a vízelvezetés is megoldódott a város egyes területein Karl Béla polgármester a lassan mögöttünk álló évről azt mondta ez volt a legnehezebb mióta Ő vezeti várost. Véleménye szerint a világban zajló események olyan feladatokat rónak a település vezetőkre, melyekkel eddig nem kellett megküzdeniük.
