A bátaszéki sváb hagyományok őrzése és tovább adása fontos eleme az oktatásnak a Kanizsai Dorottya Általános Iskolában. Ennek elmélyítésére született a nemzetiségi nap és vásár gondolata, melyben a gyerekek ősi mesterségekkel ismerkedhetnek meg. Az idei évi projektben a gyerekek azt is megtanulhatták, hogyan zajlott az esküvő dédszüleik korában.
