A fiatalok a városért elnevezésű rendezvénynek több éves hagyománya van a város életében. A település vezetése kiemelten fontosnak tartja a helyi gyerekek által elért eredmények elismerését és díjazását. Idén harminc gyermek vehette át az elismerést kimagasló tanulmányi, vagy sport teljesítményeikért .
